When I met him, I was at a stage where I had finally learned how to date properly. I was keeping my options very open, and I knew what role I wanted each guy to play in my life, if it went beyond a first date.
I wasn’t looking to jump into a relationship, or into bed, and the more time I spent with him, the more I realised he was only good enough for the latter. He definitely was not relationship material. Being that he was 12 years older, I was turned on by the potential of having sex with someone who definitely had a lot more experience than me, and I was intrigued to see what tricks he had up his sleeve.
I had been in a drought for almost 8 months, by choice, but also after just not finding someone worthy of the kitty, so when he invited me over, I thought – “fuck it, why not.” I knew I didn’t want anything serious with him, so I thought if I’m gonna have casual sex with someone, it should at least be with someone I find attractive.
Before things got heated, we started watching part of a random movie on Netflix and before I knew it, things were going there.

I realised that he was struggling to get it up and had to fight back the urge to laugh as I sat there watching him play with himself… and gradually grew bored. I was already disappointed by having to prompt him to give my lower half some attention before attempting to go in, and now he couldn’t even get it up! So much for older men being more experienced and better in bed!
The next day, I de-briefed my best friends. “He probably couldn’t get it up coz he’s old!” One of them said, as they both started laughing. I couldn’t stop myself from joining in, it was so tragic, I had to find some joy out of the situation somehow
